Menaquinone with six isoprene units (MK-6) was a major respiratory quinone, which is one of the typical characteristic features attributed to the members of the family Flavobacteriaceae (Bernardet et al., 2002). The DNA G+C content of strain CC-SAMT-1T was 33.7 mol%. Table 2 and Table S2 list cellular fatty acids that distinguished strain CC-SAMT-1T from its phylogenetic neighbors. As similar to other type strains analyzed and data available in the literature, strain CC-SAMT-1T was also found to produce iso-C15:0 as a predominant fatty acid, however, in relatively lesser amounts (14.8%; Table 2 and Table S2).
